Abstract
The Venice Architecture Biennale joined AI companions on August 16 to introduce artificial intelligence into the exhibition to explain and interact with visitors. It provides opportunities for multilingual and personalized understanding, and can also change the way people stay and discover in space.
2025 Timeline and Evidence
Officially announced in August that AI will play a more prominent role in the 2025 Architecture Biennale.
Digital partners can supplement background, language, and path information.
If the tour is over-dominant, it compresses the open architectural experience into a list of answers.
s of Case Analysis
A good digital partner should appear when needed, rather than consistently occupying attention. It requires acknowledging uncertainty, respecting quiet viewing, and avoiding masquerading curatorial interpretations as the only conclusions.
Design Response Design Response
01 Let visitors choose to explore, learn, or no-guide mode.
Connect the details of the scene with a short prompt, not a substitute for observation.
Set independent tests for accessibility, multilingualism, and privacy.
AURELIS observation
The AI value in the cultural space is not the most talked about, but to help more people enter the work, while retaining the leeway for each person to form their own understanding.
